Your idea stays yours

Plain English, about a 90-second read. Vera is in private beta, so if anything here is unclear, ask Moiz directly.

What Vera sends to Claude

Vera works by sending your sprint — your product idea, assumptions, and any interview transcripts you add — to Claude, made by Anthropic, which does the analysis. There is no way to use Vera without this, so we won't pretend otherwise.

  • Anthropic says it does not train its models on data sent through its commercial API by default.
  • Anthropic keeps API inputs and outputs for a limited time (currently up to 30 days) for safety and abuse monitoring, then deletes them, except where the law or its usage policy requires otherwise. Their policy.

What Vera stores

Your sprints (idea, assumptions, transcripts, analyses, verdict) are saved to your account so you can come back to them. Each sprint is visible only to you. Vera doesn't record the text of your AI requests anywhere else; usage tracking only counts how many AI calls you made, not what they said.

Vera uses a few services to run: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (hosting) and Anthropic (the AI). Your data is encrypted in transit and stored encrypted at rest.

Who can see it

Moiz runs Vera, so he technically has database access. He does not browse sprints and will only look at your data if you ask for help. Vera is not used for advertising and your data is never sold.

Deleting your data

You can permanently delete any sprint from your sprint list, or erase your whole account and everything in it from your account page. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone. (Anthropic's own copy follows the retention window above.)

Working on something sensitive?

Use a codename and leave out the names of companies, customers and people you don't want shared. Claude can analyze your assumptions without them.
